Regional Chapters
The KDA
recognizes the benefits
of
Regional Chapters and
invites those who would
like to spearhead a
Regional Chapter to
contact the KDA.
Currently there are some
individuals who meet
informally because they
live near each other or
contact others via the
public contact lists
made available when they
are going to "be in
town".
The KDA
would like to take this
to the next level
(although still on a
rather informal basis)
and invite those
interested in forming or
joining a regional
chapter group to contact
us at
info@kennedysdisease.org
We will
post information
regarding Regional
Chapter Coordinators,
contact information and
their plans/functions
for meeting, etc. on
this page of the Website
as they form and plans
are made public.

Meeting Guidelines:
The Kennedy's Disease
Association supports the
concept of Regional
Meetings.
Kennedy's Disease
meetings can be held for
any of the following
reasons:
-
Support Groups
-
Camaraderie/Sharing
-
Fundraising
-
Distribution of
information
-
Education - no
more than one or two
speakers
These meetings need
to be organized, funded,
and supported at the
local or regional level.
The meetings should not
conflict or compete with
any Kennedy's Disease
Association conferences,
symposiums, fundraising
events, educational
programs, etc.
The Kennedy's Disease
Association should be
notified of all planned
events including the
date(s), location,
expected attendees,
purpose of the meeting,
and meeting leader(s).
