Dear Fellow KD individuals,

My name is Paul DeSchamp. With the approval of the Kennedy's Disease Association I am attempting to plan and coordinate a regional meeting of the KDA. The objective of the meeting is to provide KD's and their families with the opportunity to network with other KD's in a social setting while keeping costs to a minimum.

Preliminary plans are:

• Proposed Date -September 10, 2004
• Proposed Location - Pennsylvania
• Two night stay at a hotel
• The event would have a social get together, Thursday, 9/9/04, 6:30 PM
• One day structured meeting, Friday, 9/10/04, 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM
• Structured meeting would have a presentation from a KDA board member and open discussions amongst the KD's, significant others and carriers. We would like to have one additional presenter. Your suggestions on the topic are welcomed
• A social event Friday evening

The proposed location was chosen in an attempt to be within a one to one and a half day car trip for as many people as possible.
