The KDA Becomes a Member of NORD -
The National
Organization for Rare Disorders (NORD), a 501(c)3
organization, is a unique federation of voluntary
health organizations dedicated to helping people
with rare "orphan" diseases and assisting the
organizations that serve them. NORD is committed
to the identification, treatment, and cure of rare
disorders through programs of education, advocacy,
research, and service.

New KDA Board Positions
The Kennedy's
Disease Association Board of Directors announce
the following changes effective August 20, 2005.
Susanne Waite
has stepped down from the positions of Executive
Director and President. Because of her
long-standing involvement and dedication to the
KDA, Susanne was named 'President Emerita' and
given an honorary position for life on the
board. Board member positions have changed.
