OTHERS MAKING A DIFFERENCE

Robert Beyer - Network/Server Services

Hello, my name is Robert Beyer. I am happily married to Donna and have 2 sons,
Carsten and Christian.   I'm a Network Engineer at Countrywide Home Loans.

For the past 4 1/2 years I've been part of a team that supports 900 Windows NT 4.0 systems.  Recently, At my current place of employment I have accepted a position on the Windows 2000 team converting NT 4.0 servers to Windows 2000 and helping with the rollout of major application upgrades throughout the company.

I came to know Terry Waite over 4 years ago, when he was the Senior Network Engineer at Countrywide. Unfortunately, I've watched Terry go from walking with some discomfort to being more dependent on his wheelchair. When he approached me to host the Kennedy's Disease Association Web site on my personal network server, I felt honored to be part of something so important to the many people who either have this disease or are acquainted with someone who does.

It's my sincere hope that this Web site can be beneficial to all those that use it!
