We rented a motel room where we examined family members
and performed NCV and EMG tests. We examined reluctant
members at the home of the “clan queen” Mrs. Battles.

Gary had type I diabetes. He denied muscle weakness, but did
recall some twitching in one arm during a growth spurt at age 16.
He went through basic training in the army. His only problem had

His reflexes were brisk. Sensation was normal. Coordination and
gait were normal. NCV and EMG were normal
