I have seen Willis on and off for 40 years.
In the late 1980’s he told me that he had discovered from
old papers that his father and brother George’s father
were not the same person.
George’s father had died and his mother married the next
older brother, who was Willis’ father.
None of the relatives changed and no one ever mentioned it.
It took almost 25 years to get that family history.
Last month (Sept. ‘04) WIllis’ sister called me.
Willis needed a letter to help him obtain a scooter. He is 79.
