We obtained birth records from churches e.g. the

St. Paul Cathedral, St. Louis church (the first church in

St. Paul), St. Mary’s church in Mendota and records at the

St. Paul City Hall. We learned a lot about the early history

of St. Paul, some stories were rather entertaining.

For example, there is a St. Paul beer named Pig’s eye beer

named after Pierre (Pig’s Eye) Parrant

We interviewed family members and examined

several males of the next generation.
